Cleaning

The cable must be cleaned using a soft cloth moistened with soapy water or 70% isopropyl alcohol. Allow the cable to dry thoroughly before use. Do not use any abrasive agents or chemical product except 70% isopropyl alcohol. Do not irradiate, autoclave, soak or immerse the cable in any kind of solution.

Warranty and Liability

The manufacturer offers 12 months warranty against defects of material or workmanship from the date of purchase. This does not cover damage or breakage due to misuse or negligent care. We guarantee that the equipment conforms to the specifications of the safety and performance standards currently enforced and applicable to it.

Warning

  1. Ensure the cable is physically intact, with no broken or frayed wires or damaged parts. Visually inspect the cable and discard if cracks or discoloration are found.
  2. Do not attempt to reprocess, recondition or recycle the cables as these processes may damage the electrical components, potentially leading to patient harm.
  3. Failure to properly connect the sensor or the oximeter module will result in intermittent readings, inaccurate results, or no readings at all.
  4. To avoid damage to the cable, always hold it by the connector rather than the cable when connecting or disconnecting either end.
  5. Always refer to the oximeter module operation’s manual for complete instructions or additional information.
  6. Carefully position the patient cable to reduce the possibility of patient entanglement or strangulation.
